Rough water

Any of these feel like your month?

  • The transmission went, mid-month.
  • Rent is due three days ahead of the paycheck.
  • The bank's letter said no.
  • A dental bill nobody planned for.
  • Payday is Friday. It's Monday.
  • Sick of asking your cousin to cover the gap.

If that's this week, you're in the right harbor. One request, $100 – $5,000, and some lenders fund as soon as the next business day, if approved. The Fund Harbor is not a lender; we pass your request along.

The harbormaster's desk

Asked on the dock

The six questions we hear most, answered without fine print in the way.

Is The Fund Harbor a lender?

No. The Fund Harbor is a connection service. We take one short request and pass it to lenders and lending partners in our network. The lender you match with makes the offer, sets the terms and funds the loan. We never make credit decisions.

What size of request can I make?

Requests run from $100 to $5,000. Ask for what you need; a lender may offer a different amount based on what you share.

Does it cost anything to look?

No. Sending a request through The Fund Harbor is free and carries no obligation. If a lender makes an offer, the cost of that loan is set out in the lender's own terms before you agree to anything.

Will a request affect my credit score?

Checking your options won't affect your credit score. Lenders in the network may run a soft inquiry to review your request. A full credit check may happen only if you proceed with a specific lender's offer, and you authorize it as part of that lender's application.

When might the money reach my account?

That is up to the lender. Some fund as soon as the next business day, if approved. The lender's offer states its own timing, so read it before you say yes.

What happens if no lender makes an offer?

Nothing is owed and nothing changes. Checking your options won't affect your credit score, so you can come back and ask again another time.
